Fasteners are mainly used for joining two or more objects together. Fasteners create temporary connections so that we remove joints without any damage to objects. 6.             Washers: Washers are normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener. A washer is typically disk-shaped or sometimes square with a hole in the middle. Different types of washers are Backup Rivet Washers, Belleville Conical Washers, Dock Washers, Fender Washers, Finishing Cup Washers, Flat Washers, Structural Washers.

7.              Rivets: Rivets have countersunk raised, countersunk flat, Button coned neck, button straight neck, pan coned neck, pan straight neck. It consists of a smooth cylindrical shaft with a head on one end and the end opposite to the head is called the tail. Various types of Rivets are POP Rivets (Open End), Closed End POP Rivets (Sealed), Large Flange POP Rivets, Colored Rivets, Multi-Grip Rivets, Tri-Fold Rivets.Concrete anchors: Concrete anchors are used to making connection which is made by assembling different components such as anchor bolts, steel plates, stiffener. Types of concrete anchors are Drop-In Anchors, Double Expansion Shield Anchors, Kaptoggle Hollow Wall Anchors, Lag Shield Expansion Anchors, Masonry Screws, Sleeve Anchors, etc.

8.                 Insert fastener: Insert fastener is inserted into the object to add a threaded hole. Inserts are also called threaded bushing. Inserts are also various types: Dowel Pins, Helicoil Threaded Inserts, E-Z Lok Threaded Inserts, Keystock, Unthreaded Rod.
